Resin DRiveways

What We Do

Resin Gravel Driveways

Resin Bound Gravel driveways are an increasingly popular and durable driveway solution. It is smooth, practical surface that, when correctly installed, will last for many years. Resin bound surfaces create the look of a prestigious gravel driveway without the problems of loose gravel.

The look of a resin bound driveway particularly suits modern houses that benefit from the “crisp” appearance. I believe that it is not suited to older style buildings because of the slightly “plastic” appearance. I can show you samples to explain this.

The smooth (but anti-slip) finish of a resin bound driveway is ideal for use as a children’s play space. Resin bound driveways are low maintenance – no weeds or moss, and its oil resistant.

Our Installation Process

Our resin bound driveways are installed on a tarmac base which in turn is laid on a sub base of compacted hardcore (MOT type 1).

We would only install the resin bound surface on a base that we can certify as being up to the job.

We have seen many instances of driveways installed on top of existing surfaces that have failed – you do not what that to happen as this type of driveway cannot be repaired it must be re-laid if cracks appear. Be wary!

Resin Bound gravel is ideal for patios as it is a permeable surface so, unlike paving, it can be laid level.

We are proud to be an approved installer for Ronacreate.
